Our Friends

These are sites of groups that we are actively affiliated with or support.

The North Central Conservative Baptist Association
Bethel is an active participant in the NCCBA, which is an association of like-minded churches who desire to partner together in ministry.

The Center for Women
The Center for Women is a faith-based, life-affirming pregnancy resource center. It exists to enable women to carry their babies to term by offering practical and tangible alternatives to abortion. Several from the Bethel church family serve at The Center for Women, and we have a box in our foyer for donations of diapers and other supplies for this ministry.

Marriage Matters Jackson
Marriage Matters Jackson exists to strengthen marriages and families, decrease divorce, and measurably impact Jackson County and its economy by supporting proven strategies to: communicate the importance of healthy marriage, connect the community to marriage enrichment and pre-marital resources, and collaborate with community leaders and organizations. Bethel pastors have been an active part of crafting MMJ’s Healthy Marriage Agreement.

The Michigan Center Community Food Pantry
The Michigan Center Community Food Pantry is run by one of Bethel’s regulars, Marci Merrill. The Pantry was formed to provide food for people in the community, and has been in existence since 2010.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a program that seeks to reach impoverished children around the world with the Good News about Jesus. The program uses shoeboxes filled by families and individuals here in the United States with small gifts such as clothing, candy, school supplies and personal hygiene products. Bethel participates in this program, and our church facility also serves as a regional collection site. OCC is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.

Youth Haven Ranch
Youth Haven was co-founded by Bethel members Larry and Cheri Carlson. Youth Haven is a non-denominational Christian outreach to disadvantaged kids. Youth Haven has campuses in Michigan and Arizona and provides year-round activities to youth at no cost.
